The 2010 Kia Sedona is a new generation minivan available in both short and long wheelbase versions. The long-wheelbase Sedona comes in two trim levels – the standard LX and the upscale EX. The short-wheelbase Sedona is available only in the base trim level. The Sedona is roomy, flexible and extremely comfortable. The 244 hp 3.8-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine provides improved fuel economy with an EPA rating of 17/23 mpg city/highway. This aluminum block engine continues to be mated to a five-speed Sportmatic transmission with a four-wheel independent suspension.

The 2010 Kia Sedona comes loaded with features, is sturdy and boasts of excellent cabin comfort and trunk space. The LX comes with second-row captain’s chairs and fold-flat third-row seating, which helps create additional space. The EX can be upgraded with power-sliding doors, a power lift-gate or a Luxury package.

The 2010 Sedona is the first and only minivan ever to earn both a 5-star crash safety rating from the U.S. Government and be named “Top Safety Pick” by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Seat-mounted side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags in all three rows of seats are standard. All-disc anti-lock brakes incorporate electronic brake-force distribution. Active front head restraints, an electronic stability system and traction control with brake assist are standard safety features.

A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and a Traction Control System (TCS) that ensure a smoother and safer ride are new additions to the standard safety equipment for 2010.
