At The 2012 New York Auto Show this year World Car of the Year have been Presented. The Volkswagen Up! was declared as the 2012 World Car of the Year rid of 34 other contestants all over the world to win this prestigious award including the BMW 3-Series and Porsche 911.

Geneva. The Opel Ampera and the Chevrolet Volt have today won the “Car of the Year 2012″ award. By handing victory to the revolutionary electric vehicles, the panel of judges, made up of 59 leading automotive journalists from 23 European nations, paid tribute to General Motor’s innovative foresight.
